Qualifications
Must be 18 or older to apply
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse international ELLs

Teaching experience welcome but not necessary; only a desire to help and the ability to commit to this opportunity are required
Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire adult learners in their ESL journey
Reliability and commitment to volunteering
Volunteers will be required to have an in-depth background review performed before proceeding in the process
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to improve learner’s reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in English
Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment to help learners build confidence in their language skills
Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of international ELL adult students
